[Ref. js1] JEAN SIDER:
French ufologist and author Jean Sider learned in an article from the newspaper La Dépêche du Pays de Bray, Forges, for October 14, 1954, that on October 10, 1954 in the morning, in Forges-les-Eaux in the department of Seine-Maritime, Mr. Fléchelle, guard-forester, and an Italian contractor residing in Forges, Mr. Antoine X., whose patronym was not revealed, were in the wood of Epinay, not far from the clay pigeon shooting range.
They suddenly saw a mysterious machine which landed in the site reserved for the shooting. Three hairy men of small size went out, and one of them put his arm on the shoulder of Mr. Fléchelle.
A photographer called later came to take a photograph of of the landing site of the object, which had disappeared without leaving traces.
Jean Sider notes that the incident is reported in a mocking manner by a journalist who regards this case as a probable joke, without seeming to have carried out the least investigation.
