The author indicates that in France in 1954, at Chatellerault like at Bugeat, a man alleged that normal-looking beings or a normal-looking being approached, kissed him, jabbered unintelligibly, then got into cigar-shaped saucers ten feet long, and took off.

[Ref. ud1:] "UFODNA" WEBSITE:
The website indicates that on 13 October 1954 in Chatellerault, France, there was a "Close encounter with a an unidentified craft and its occupants. An unidentifiable object and its occupants were observed at close range."
The sources are indicated as Wilkins, Harold T., Flying Saucers Uncensored, Citadel, 1955; Hatch, Larry, *U* computer database, Author, Redwood City, 2002.
The man in Bugeat is Antoine Mazaud, see Mourieras for October 10.
The case in Chatellerault is completely unknown to me and might be full in error, maybe a deformation of the famous Marius Dewilde case of October 10.
