REPORTS:

[Ref. 345] MICHEL FIGUET AND JEAN-LOUIS RUCHON:

The two French ufologists report that on October 6, 1954 at about 11:30 P.M., in Cozes, which is located between the cities of Bordeaux and Royan in Charente-Maritime, an unnamed lady who was going home riding her bicycle, saw a gleam which was first of orange color, then of green color, in a field.

She then saw that these gleams came from an apparatus in the shape of a turtle and topped with a cupola. The light then went out, and she saw two human silhouettes coming out of the apparatus.

One of the silhouettes held a rod and seemed to be looking for something. Suddenly an intense light lightened the apparatus and the witness could see that the two human silhouettes were in fact two small beings which she said has only one eye and no nose, a flat face, with two holes above the mouth.

The lady became very scared and yelled of terror, the apparatus then went away. When the object went away, she heard that it made a weak humming sound.

[Ref. 134:] ALBERT ROSALES, HUMCAT:

130.

Location. Cozes Charente Maritime France

Date: October 6 1954

Time: 2330

An unidentified woman, riding a bicycle from Bordeaux to Royan, saw in a field at Cozes an object shaped like a turtle, surmounted by a cupola. It emitted first an orange light, then green, dimming and brightening alternately. Two human forms appeared nearby, one of which carried a shaft or rod and seemed to be looking for something. A violet light from the object illuminated the beings and the woman was able to make out two small human like faces behind the faceplates in their helmets. But instead of noses, she could see only two small holes just above the mouth; and instead of the two usual eyes, she saw a single eye in the middle of the forehead. Letting out a scream, the object (and the two beings, presumably) disappeared emitting a slight hum.
