One of the fact that the debunkers of the Belgium UFO flap of 1989-1992 do not like to mention is that the flap which they claim was "only within the border of Belgium" extended across other countries.

INQUIRE=DOC10D SERIAL: LD1504122490 BODY TEXT: ((TEXT)) MOSCOW 15 APRIL (TASS) -- The newspaper Rabochaya Tribuna reports today on unusual Phenomena 47 km along the Yarovslavl Highway outside Moscow. It has been going on at night since 12 March. To start with, large shining spheres and discs appear in the sky. Their place is then taken by three groups of objects. Some are like pineapples, but about six meters long. The characteristic pinapple platelets cover the hull. Others are not unlike huge triangular milk cartons. And the third group are like upside down basins, 12-15 meters across. The whole hulls of the objects flare up, and as the glow fades they shimmer and flicker with iridescent flames. They fly quite quickly and are capable of stopping suddenly and darting to one side. They move in total silence. There is no whistling or humming. Sometimes a shining cloud emerges over the nearby forest. Armed with field glasses, the local people spend the nights on the rooftops, reports the newspaper. Several hundred people have seen the unidentified flying objects, and all describe them roughly the same way. |
