An assiduous UFO
A UFO has appeared every evening, for one week approximately, in the
sky of the community of Saint-Porchaire (the Charente-Maritime) where
many reseidents managed to observe it, as well as the gendarmes
who opened an investigation.
Last Friday, the apparatus appeared during some twenty minutes at
approximately 10:15 p.m. and a short power blackout occurred at the
time when it flew over the power line feeding the village. Then it
disappeared while following its usual trajectory towards the North.
The UFO had been seen last Monday at about the same hour by two residents of
Saint-Porchaire, who were going home in a car. It was, according to their
statements to the gendarmerie, an "enormous and blazing object whose
gleam set ablaze all the windshield" and who moved away "quickly and by jerks",
when the headlights of the car reached it.
