A MYSTERIOUS CRAFT FALLS INTO JAPANESE WATERS
TOKYO (A.F.P.). -- A "ball of fire" fell into the sea, in the night
from Monday to Tuesday, in the east of Nemuro (Hokkaido), and six ships
of unknown nationality converged at once towards the fallin spot
of the mysterious object.
The crews of fishing ships of the area think that it could be a
a Soviet satellite or a missile.
The coastal authorities of Nemuro stated to the press that they
had interrogated the fishermen but had been unable to obtain precise
indications. The fishing ships located on their radar screens the
ships which navigated the waters close to the place where "the object"
landed on sea. The fishermen are said to have also seen a dark form,
which could have been a submarine, in the vicinity.
