Hamlet of Lentheric
Two residents saw a "strange" flying object
Two inhabitants of the hamlet of Lentheric, an agricultural pensioner
and his wife, who went outside at approximately 10:30 p.m., Wednesday
evening, to take wood for their chimney... saw a strange flying object:
"a machine of the size of a montgolfier on fire" they stated.
After checking with the services of the Gendarmerie and the Army (military
Delegation of Montpellier and School of application) no helicopter or
military plane was in operation at that hour - the hour of arrival of
the airliner coming from Paris bound for Béziers-Vias in the sector.
The questioned neighbouring town halls did not collect any other concordant testimony.
