"What exactly do you mean by "a witness?" I see names of people who weren't even there."
- I have a very broad acceptance of what a "witness" is. For example, if a person states "I built the balloon that crashed at Roswell" I consider this person to be a witness even if the person was never in New Mexico or did not launch the balloon. If a person would claim "last year in the Bahamas my wife and I met an alien who survived the Roswell crash," I will use my own subjective judgment to decide if I include this witness in the list or not. If you feel that the list is biased because of that, please let me know in an argumented manner.

- The list willingly comprises also discredited witnesses names. I do not intend to hide frauds or promote frauds as truths, I intend that a discredited witnesses's testimonies and statements can be viewed from a link in this list. When there is no such link yet, it means that I have some work to do and not that the witness is discredited or not discredited. In other words, when there is no other information available here than a name of a person, feel free to consider this witness as non-existent or fraudulent or balloon witness.

- If this is so, then this is what you will find behind the link on this person's name. If there is no such link yet, then it means that I still have work to do about it. Feel free to consider that for any name without additional information, the witness has testified of nothing or of balloon debris recovery.

I do not intend to disregard your criticism so please feel free to provide any additional witness information that may be useful, if possible complete and with accurate source references. - During a long and vivid discussion of the Roswell affair on a French UFO-discussion group where I participated, several people have mentioned that there is not enough information on the French speaking internet on the Roswell affair. I thought I may help there. This page is English, but the site is bilingual. I need to provide both the original english and the French-translated documents and texts, so that my translation can be critically checked.
